Airport Kraków - Balice

The Main Campus of Cracow University of Technology is within walking distance of the historical centre of town. It is about five minutes on foot from the Main Railway Station (PKP) and Regional Bus Station (RDA). The fastest link between the city centre and Krakow Airport is by train (approximately 15 minutes). The railway station is located 200 m from Terminal One. There is a free Shuttle Bus service between Krakow Airport and the Balice railway station. The Shuttle Bus picks passengers up at the Balice railway station and transports them between Terminal 1 (international flights) and Terminal 2 (domestic flights) and then returns to the station. A one-way rail ticket to the city centre costs 8 zlotys from the ticket office and 7 zlotys from an automatic ticket vending machine. Tickets can be purchased on the train from the conductor or from a vending machine located near the exit to Terminal1. Tickets can also be purchased at Kraków Main Railway Station (at one of numerous ticket counters near the entrance or from vending machines located on Platform 1).
